The number of people using social networks is getting close to the 5.19 billion people who use the internet, or 64.5 percent of the world’s population.

LAHORE: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif declared on Saturday that despite the dire circumstances, the country’s economy is on the right track as he laid the cornerstone for several construction projects, including the 19 km-long Lahore Bypass connecting Kala Shah Kaku to the Lahore-Karachi Motorway.
Speaking at the event at Sharqpur, he asserted that “development projects are linked with the welfare of people.” He said that the opening of the Lahore-Karachi Motorway’s extension project up to Sigian Road and Main Ravi Bridge will ease traffic in Lahore, save fuel, and generate jobs.
According to Shehbaz Sharif, a Quaid-e-Azam University campus is also being built in Lahore. He said that the metro bus line from Shahdra to Kala Shah Kaku will be expanded. He stated that these development initiatives cost about Rs 50.
The Scout College in Sheikhupura also had its cornerstone placed by the prime minister.
Speaking at the event, he asserted that the government is taking proactive steps to advance IT culture in the nation since we are living in the era of information technology. He said that improvements in the agricultural industry will propel the nation’s expansion and development.
Rana Tanveer, the federal minister for education, gave a speech at the event and stated that the country is moving in the right way as a result of the current administration’s wise policies.
He claimed the current government is characterized by public development initiatives. He said that every effort is being made to stabilize the economy.
Speaking at the event in Sharqpur, Minister of Communication Maulana Asad Mahmood said that the current administration had saved the nation from default and taken its name off the list of “gray” nations. He said that 51 National Highway projects had been initiated by the current administration.
A 19 km long Lahore Bypass linking Kala Shah Kaku to the Lahore-Karachi Motorway was also officially opened by the PM. About 27,000 new jobs will be generated by this initiative.
